Insight Partners are at a $50 million valuation.
Apna, a jobs and networking platform for blue and grey collar workers has raised $70 million dollars in Series B funding from Insight Partners and Tiger Global at a $570 million valuation.
Sequoia Capital India, Lightspeed India, Greenoaks Capital, Rocketship VC participated in the round.
The company said its business grown 50 times in the last year. Reports say that they have over one lakh employers using the platform. Given the Covid-19 situation, the demand has risen for e-commerce and healthcare postings.
Apna was founded in 2019, and it has 60 communities for carpenters, painters and the like. The app allows the users to access local job opportunities, practice for interviews and share experiences.
Apna has its presence in more than 15 cities in the country.
